This March, Jordi Molina travelled to Israel to perform two concerts (the 12^th and 14^th) with the Raanana Symphoniette Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Salvador Brotons. Brotons often leads this orchestra and through his initiative brought about these two recitals: "Viva Barcelona" with a wide repertoire of Catalan music.

During the first half the audience enjoyed ‘Puigsoliu’ by Joaquim Serra, the ‘sardana camperola’ by Eduard Toldrà, a version of the ‘el Cant dels Ocells’ and finally the ‘Catalanesc Concert’ for tenora and orchestra, piece by Brotons with Jordi Molina as soloist.

Before the recital the Maestro explained about the history and origins of the instrument. This dissertation was much enjoyed by all.
