On 23rd and 24th May, Jordi Molina participated in two concerts as soloist with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Salvador Brotons. The works performed were "Catalanesc Concerto for tenora and orchestra" by Salvador Brotons and a version of "El Cant dels Ocells" by Jesús Ventura.

In the first part of the concert and the " Catalanesc Concerto " recital, the Cobla Chamber of Catalonia also participated under the direction of Jesus Ventura, concerts diffusing cobla’s music.

All these acts were done to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Salvador Brotons.
