Concert a Viena

On Jan. 27th Jordi Molina and the accordionist Perepau Jiménez, inaugurated the cycle of Mediterranean music organized by public radio in the Austrian capital. The concert was staged in the ORF auditorium headquarters, the public broadcasting network based in Vienna.
 
A smallscale concert that mixed compositions of traditional roots with new creation pieces. A totally devoted audience enjoyed a completely new sound. The small chamber music recital with tenora and diatonic accordion, thus combined Catalan and Viennese tradition, as the tenora had its origins in the Catalan countries in the mid-nineteenth century the diatonic accordion appears for the first time in Vienna in 1829.
